Refund & Returns Policy

This policy applies to the digital guides (the "Vault" e-books and downloadable PDFs) sold by TeaTrade. Because these are digital products that are delivered instantly and cannot be physically returned, this policy explains exactly when a refund is and isn't available, and how to request one. It sits alongside your legal rights as a UK consumer and does not affect them.

1. The nature of our products

All paid TeaTrade products are digital downloads (PDF and/or web guides) fulfilled through our payment partner, Gumroad. There is no physical item and nothing to post back. Once a file has been downloaded or accessed, it is in your possession and cannot be "returned" in the way a physical product can.

2. Your 14-day cancellation right (and the important exception)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, this right is lost once download or streaming begins, provided you have agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you waive the cancellation right.

At checkout you expressly consent to immediate access to your purchase and acknowledge that, by downloading or opening the guide, you lose the 14-day right to cancel. If you have purchased but not yet downloaded or accessed the file, you may still request a full refund within 14 days.

3. Your rights if something is wrong

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if the guide you receive is:

In these cases we will first try to fix the problem (for example, by re-sending a working file). If we can't, you are entitled to a refund.

4. Goodwill refunds

Beyond your legal rights, we want you to be genuinely happy with what you buy. If a guide simply wasn't what you hoped for, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will consider a goodwill refund on a case-by-case basis. To help you decide before you pay, every paid guide has a free "lite" edition you can read first.

5. Duplicate or accidental purchases

If you were charged twice for the same guide, or bought the wrong product by mistake, contact us and we will refund the duplicate or incorrect order.

6. How to request a refund

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Gumroad back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

7. Pricing and currency

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and are one-time payments for the edition described. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges for Vault guides. Any taxes are handled at checkout by Gumroad where applicable.
